FCE (First Certificate in English) is now referred to as B2 First for Schools. It constitutes an official certification of knowledge of the English language at B2 level as outlined by
the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
It tests the students’ ability to communicate in an English-speaking environment and it can be computer or paper-based.
It is officially recognized in Greece. The examination is held twice a year and it tests all four language skills : Listening, Writing, Speaking, Reading.
